How to change audio order on an mkv file

#1
Hi:
I'm sorry if I started this topic in the wrong place, but I didn't know where to put it and since the description of this sub-forum includes "software" I thought this is the more appropriate place.
So, I know there's a lot of smart people here, and many of you work with video files, enconding stuff, etc. Thing is: I have Gundam Wing dual audio, and eng subs, problem, it comes with the eng audio and eng subs by default, so the question is, how do I leave the jap audio by default and disable the subs?
Any help is appreciated.
PD: If you want the series and can't find it, I'll send you the link via PM.

It depends on the media player you use. Personally, I use Media Player Classic with the CCCP codec pack. In MPC, all you do is right click on the video and go to audio or subtitles, but that won't be much help if you don't use MPC.

You'll want mkvtoolnix: http://www.bunkus.org/videotools/mkvtoolnix/

You can use mkvmergegui (mmg.exe) to load the mkv file, then you can modify the streams contained in the file. You can set which tracks are default, or you can even remove tracks altogether, and then output a new file with the changes.

Man, that is great. Exactly what I needed.
Thank you both, but I actually play these on my popcorn hour.
