Now, I don't know anything about this series, but I heard that My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic has a number of episodes with Japanese subtitles (maybe fan made) on nicovideo, so you can also see the scrolling comments by the other users. Or so I heard. I wouldn't have any idea about that stuff.

Wow, two of my favorite things - cartoons for little girls and comments like "Whoooooooaaaaaaa coooooooollllll!!!!" covering up the entire span of the video.

Oh, I always found South Park to be more fun to watch. Specifically the episode about the Japanese dolphin slaughter.

Sometimes they're just annoying, but they can also give a real community feeling. I couldn't watch a 実況プレイ without them.
