This made me wonder if it's possible to make a b/w mosaic image out of kanji of different 'density'? There's an application to create colour mosaic images out of little photos. Is there something similar using kanji?
btw, I'd never seen 卞 before. It only shows up in 卞和 (べんか) in my dictionaries (a Chinese historical figure), so I guess I can ignore that. (But I did learn the interesting story of how he is responsible for the word 完璧.) ja.wikipedia.org 卞和 and 完璧
