Hi all,
Thanks in advance for any help on this. I'd rather not install 1000 little trial and error programs if somebody already has a working stack for this...
I have a subscription to Young Jump weekly to start from. I want to rip out one manga each week to devote to SRS entries in Anki.
What I would like to be able to do is just scan them into my flatbed, apply Japanese OCR, and rip to Anki cards with Yomichan or something similar to automate lookup, etc.
Does anyone know of any good solutions for the OCR component to extract the text? Preferrably free.
I have only come across one so far....but honestly don't want to bloat my computer with the .NET framework unless necessary.

Anyone have experience with this product or something else to get this workflow going?
This would make learning so much more rapid for the stories I'm interested in. I'm sick and tired of using a digital dictionary and doing manual entries!!!
Thank you
