I want to create a simple wallpaper with this text so I need an accurate translation.

Is it supposed to say "That's why we say"?

If so, try:

「僕たちは盗まない　－　だから捨てられた物のみを使うと言っているわけ！」

Might need a little tweaking. Just typed the first thing that came to mind.

It does make sense:

"We never steal" - that's what we say
We only use what's thrown away

OK, the important thing is the line break (or a comma/period after "say").

捨てられた物のみを使う！

Agreed that the space/period/something is important there.

僕らの掟「絶対盗まない！」
捨てられたもの、それしか使わない

My attempt, I wanted to make it rhyme like the original Not sure about the rhythm though.

Props on the addition of trying to make it rhyme. Though I don't think 掟 really fits here.

誓い might work better, depending on the tone you're going for -- but 掟 makes sense.

I would like to thank you all for your help! I like pudding cats best so I took it. And here is my new 壁紙.



It might not be beautiful or perfect, but it is simple and I like it. Maybe I will tweak it a little more, but overall I am happy with the outcome. :-)
