Japanese children's TV

Are there any good children's TV shows or movies that I can watch for Japanese listening practice? I find that a lot of the time more complex dramas just whizz over my head, but some of the slower and simpler stuff really worked its way in.

all in good time, you'll be understanding complex shows/animes. For me I just took a dive while I was using the srs (hardcore in the beginning phases). One thing I point out is, keep listening and keep decoding(if text is present). Learn common vocab first(you'll get more bang for your buck)

I second that one! I add Bottle Fairy which is really easy to understand, and very funny!

just having subs (japanese NOT english) makes it so much easier and less intimidating.
It's probably because you can't catch what they're saying as opposed to you don't understand what they're saying... well at least that's how it is for me.
