You think it works for Japanese? Is there a version that works with Japanese text? If you know more information please let everyone know.

Wow, nice find! Now, if there is one, I want one. Period! But where does it say that this model will be unable to handle Japanese text?

I haven't finished looking up information about it yet so I am not sure whether or not it can handle Japanese text. I figured Kanji recognition is a different software than recognizing English text. Would be awesome if Japan already had a mouse that could do both horizontal and vertical text.

I would suspect that if the model is released in Japan, that it will include Japanese recognition technology.

If their software doesn't convert Japanese, could always just import the image into an OCR program that does.
