Hi All,
Can you help me with this, it's been bothering me and a google search and trawling forums hasn't produced an answer.
Recently, I started reading a lot of blogs and tweets and noticed a lot of people using small hiragana in sentences like this 'ぁ~ぉ腹いっぱぃ'. (not just using the small tsu, but using smaller versions of all the kana).
I understand the meaning of the sentence, but am wondering if the smaller hiragana add anything grammar/ sound wise, or if it's just like text speak/ slang/ internet gibberish.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
