Is anyone here learning these two languages? I'm thinking about learning chinese after having some experience in japanese. Will I have problems with kanji?

I'm studying Mandarin now. I Studied Japanese for about 4 years and consider myself fluent now. My japanese continues to improve now just from using it everyday. I haven't had any problems with interference between the two languages. Any knowledge of Japanese is actually a pretty massive advantage when learning Chinese. The hanzi problem will pretty much be trivial to you. Also there's a huge amount of shared vocabulary. I actually feel like learning chinese is making my Japanese better.
