Finding a bunko viewer

#1
Hi guys, if you could give me some help I'd really appreciate it.

I'm looking for some kind of software which will let me view aozora bunko formatted txt files, in UTF-8.

I've tried a couple of things like tobira and txtmiru, but tobira can't select text and txtmiru can't display UTF-8 (As far as my fiddling with them as revealed). Any solutions?

http://a2k.aill.org/

use that site, paste the url to the aozora bunko file of interest (the full link to the .zip of any particular text) and you will be prompted for a nice text-selectable pdf. and if you have a kindle it will work perfectly Big Grin

e.g. paste this url into the box:
http://www.aozora.gr.jp/cards/000121/fil...by_649.zip

then hit "PDF化"

sorry, i know not exactly what you're looking for... but... something.

DigiShelf is particularly annoying because its a yearly subscription. If anyone finds anything comparable I would love to know about it!

TxtMiru v2.0.0.6 displays files in UTF-8 for me.
What do you know, I wasn't even aware of an update for it!

Sorry, I assumed you were using the newest TxtMiru, previously linked, and was too lazy to see what you were doing wrong under that assumption.

As an offline conversion tool, also linked in that thread, is 青P, and of course there's JNF itself.
