I am on the search for ideas to SRS. What do you think it would be interesting or useful to SRS besides your L2, L3 or L(N).

Yes, let's collaborate! If we start now we will have a strong knowlegde when classes start (though I will only have politics in the 2nd semester, even better, at least for me
)
Nope, my lectures are all in english
I already had history of japan I and II (1st and snd semester) and studied until the WWII, next year in politics of Japan we are going to continue from there on.
What are your resources? My lectures were made by my teacher based of course in books. And also we are supposed to read a book on the subject.
Other ideias to srs... it all depends on what you like, on what you want to know. I personally will make (don't know when) cards related to marketing, business etc and all that stuff that will probably be helful for my future. You can even memorize pokemon with anki! I'm so grateful for having anki
drop me an email or something

Posted this before at some point, but mathematical formulas and theorems are surprisingly good SRS material. Perhaps even integrals, although I don't know if you'd ever be in a situation where you'd gain much by not having to look them up.
If you're studying econ or finance, you'll encounter dozens of formulas, and I've found that I've become much more efficient if I SRS them. The forced recall of even basic stuff is almost like teaching (or TAing), and anybody who's ever done that can tell you---that's when you really learn it.

I was thinking about a basic math deck too, wondering if memorizing non trivial arithmetical expressions could have a benefit in my regular computation speed.

I'm using SRS with
psychology
anatomy
mathematics (especially cards that ask for mathematical proofs has helped in deepening my knowledge/understanding/intuition I think)
biology
chemistry
physics
statistics (formulas and proofs of formulas whenever possible)
swedish&english words (mostly kind of uncommon words I don't know that I add whenever I encounter them)
geography (the shared "countries, capitals, flags, oceans" deck with flags disabled because who cares right)
You can use it with pretty much anything. I've been studying a lot with Khanacademy (http://www.khanacademy.org/)lately to regain/learn what I'd forgotten from or never learned in high school plus some more and putting the most important things into Anki works really well. Just the creation of cards helps you by making you think about what you actually learned and what the core of it is.
(Using a snipping tool to grab stuff directly from videos etc. for some cards can be very helpful. I'm still on XP so I don't have the built-in Win7 snipping tool, I've been using "Jay's snipping tool" http://tinyurl.com/43rlr2h if anyone needs it)

@tokystyle What works better for studying Japanese in your personal experience?

I actually made a deck from KhanAcademy using the problems he gives in his videos. Right from Arithmetic, Pre-Algebra and 2/3 of the Algebra playlist. I was planning on sharing it once I'd finished adding the Algebra section... but I'm so busy these days and haven't been able to do it. I'd be more than happy to share it if people are also willing to help me add to it. After Algebra I want to add, Trig, Pre-Calculus and Calculus. After that I think it'd be a great little deck to get you up to speed in teh world of maths. I've made it so that theres a link to the video on the back of each card too so if you couldn't solve it you can go and watch him explain the problem directly.

How about this for out there? I started working on an Anki deck to help me learn the titles of my favorite band's songs based on just an audio clip of the first 5 seconds of a song.

What benefit could you have from this? Is it because pokemons have some kanjified names or something?
