Looks kinda useless compared to the Anki app. If this is your 1st post here, then I assume that you are trying to sell this to us or something.

I'll give it a try later, not sure how useful it'll be but looks decent.

And free universal app? I'm intrigued.

people don't necessary agree with the idea that they need a computer to tell them when to study what and putting a lot of faith in this or that algorithm. I agree that cramming is inefficient for long term acquisition though as I said in the other thread I think SRS's are inefficient for some of the same reasons. The best way is to prepare sufficiently in advance, give the material time to sink in and do a little long term review. But this tool is aimed at helping you pass an exam, so as a last resort when pressed for time it could be useful.

And of course the BEST approach is combining the two by cramming information, then continuing to study over the long term. It REALLY sets in then.

Looks to me like yet another edict wraparound. Although, I'm not sure where it's getting the "明るい未来待っていた" sentence.

For a free edict wraparound, it seems like it could be OK, but I don't plan on downloading it. I got the Japanese app from codeintokyo (?) when it was still free, and it does what I need it to.

I won't because I'm done with any formal study of Japanese and don't believe in cramming.

But if someone was sitting the JLPT next week, a little cramming beforehand could get them past the pass mark. This is not really any different than paying for any of the various JLPT対策 books. I agree 10$ is far too optimistic pricing though.

Fortunately it's free so anyone can download it and rate it as the useless crap it is.

It is advertisement. It reads like advertisement. As I don't have either an iPhone or iPad I am not interested, but if someone does decide to try it I want to hear about their experience.

I would ban the OP immediately if I were an administrator. First post is an advertisement. Something tells me this guy isn't going to be a real contributor to this forum.

Download the app because you have no clue what you are talking about.

The guy is charging $10 per word pack for a few hundred words that are all ripped from free sources.

Woah! Shocking! if thats true you should put a review on the iTunes Store as well.. I went to the page and there are 0 reviews.
It is strange. This app has been released only a week ago but I kinda of remember it from scrolling in the Japanese apps in the store a year ago! or was a similar one?
