Recently I have no reviews for my so called "Misc" anki deck. I added cards, learnt them and yesterday - out of curiosity, why no reviews are coming up - i checked the cards in the word browser and discovered something like "Due 22 minutes ago". But there are no reviews?!? What did I just do? T_T Help!

You are going to get scolded for posting Anki help questions here. They belong in the Anki forum. But...
Check whether they are suspended. That could have happened if they were determined to be leech cards (though that doesn't seem likely).
Also check your selective study options (Reviews tab) to see if it's at a setting that would exclude them.

I'll post this here: FoxReplace (this site's URL, HTML box checked, regex substitution) works as a rough, quick workaround for adbots' junk filling the page: something like replacing <a href.*string.*</a> with a blank, where ‘string’ is something common to every topic (like that URL). FoxReplace's regexp is a bit quirky, but that seems to work okay.
