Hey guys, I just setup a website where users can exchange Playstation Network usernames or Xbox Live Gamertags with native speakers of the language they're learning.

So you can play Nazi zombies with Japanese speakers and learn tons of new survival vocab/curse words!

It's called DatLanguage (http://datlanguage.com/).

(shameless request) I need help getting a userbase started and was wondering if you guys could help. Would you mind sending the site to non-native English speakers that you know?

Also, do you have any advice for how I can get a userbase for various languages? :o

There's a Google Translate widget that will change the site to any language, and users have the option to enter any language they want to learn. So, it's not just for Japanese! Also, you can chose two languages you are learning.

What do you guys think? It is extremely rough, and I will be adding more features in the near future. What would you guys suggest?

This service will always be available for free, of course.

Cool, I use PSN quite often actually(I have JPN account). Wouldn't mind adding more people to the list.

I hope you are advertising this site on actual Japanese boards as well. Otherwise you won't get much turn out on the Japanese side of the equation. Try posting it on the ENGLISH board over in the 学問・文系　section of 2ch.net.

But actually if people want to meet Japanese folks, just play Lost Planet. Japanese people love Lost Planet.
