I was up to 411 flashcards, but i stopped studying for about 2 months. I'm trying to get back on the horse now, but i don't remember many of the Kanji. I have 398 Cards due. I don't know what i should do. Should i start over? I mean, the early ones i can remember no problem. It's just the later ones that i had been learning.

I got up to 999 then stopped, and I ended up just doing the reviews and grading fairly (I didn't change the way I graded) and things were fine after a week or two.

If you start over you will have to do more reviews in the long run. So I would just review until you get it done and back on track.
if you are using anki there are a couple of ways to "hack" it so it feels and seems like you are getting more done, faster.
1. before you start, set the reviews to "show failed cards at end." This way you will be able to go through all your cards one time and knock out the ones you know. Be brutally quick in this stage. Don't work to hard. It should take like 5 seconds tops for each card (maybe longer if it is a long story or something).
2. after you go through each card, change the review menu to "show failed cards soon." now it's time to begin the grind. Just sit back, relax, have fun, take breaks, but most importantly, get through it.
good luck!

I got to about 850 and stopped. It's been about a month and a half. I actually decided to start over. I downloaded the main RTK deck on Anki and just reviewed on and on until I reached a point where I was slipping up a lot, which was around frame 400. Now I'm just working through RTK again from that point. It's actually served me pretty well to revisit the frames themselves.
