I'm going to be traveling for a couple weeks and I want a way to do my reps while traveling. I'm guessing that an IPOD+Anki will be the best choice because it's small and can run Anki. And if I can find internet then I can squeeze in some RevTK reps too.
What would you recommend for portable reps while traveling?

I just use my £220 netbook. It's much more functional than an ipod and it's so light in my bag I don't really notice it.

Thanks, I didn't think about a small notebook. They certainly look smaller than a laptop, and probably more versatile than an iPod like you say. But it's just going to be me an a backpack, so I want to travel as light as possible. Also, I heard that iPods have a map and pseudo GPS system which might also be useful. But the netbook will probably be a lot easier to run Anki. I guess I'll have to consider weight, cost, overall usefulness, usefulness while traveling, etc.

there's a load of threads if you search 'ipod' and 'netbook' but just re anki I think it'll depend if you want to only review, or to be adding/unsuspending/editing cards. If it's just reviewing I think an ipod touch will be easiest purely because of the size.

I've been using my laptop and android phone for reviews, but everytime I review on my phone I have to copy the anki file and media folder to my computer, so that it syncs.
Is there any other way to do it (I can't sync online because it gets expensive to turn the internet on my phone)

Android phone + RevTK site works fine for me on the train.
