Ctrl+M: Magnifier for the win.

Last time I tried it, it didn't stand up to the competition. But that was like 2 years ago, so I'm guessing it's probably better.
I've sometimes thought about writing my own comic viewer. In the end, I wasn't really sure which features were necessary, and which were bloat... And it seems like a fair amount or work for little reward. Still might be fun to do, though.

Personally, i use Cloudreaders for iPad.
It is FREE and even has tagging support
to organize your collection.
For Mac OS X, i use SimpleComic.

I am using "comical" an open source program you can get here: http://comical.sourceforge.net/ which has a zoom feature, is easy to use and reads all my cbr comic files.

I have to admit ComicRack is way over featured. I like that it will import .zip files straight off the bat, but I'd love to see more support for it as a reader (mainly .epub and .pdf), as the bookmarking, favorites and general way it operates really suits this.
I also think the zoom is a little difficult to manage using the mouse, but I barely use it with the magnifier. Also, with TranslatorAgregator sitting on top, it still leaves you with a lot of space for reading.
Overall, I like it. Both ComicZeal (for my iPhone) and ComicRack are really great pieces of software. I think probably the best feature is the library system, but I'll rave about that later too keep this short!
P.s., Thanks for the links. I would love to hear more about other options out there.

I haven't tried many comic readers yet but MangaMeeya is by far the best I've found and definitely does the job for me. Even so, I'll try ComicRack.

Of all the viewers that I’ve tried, Mangameeya is by far my favorite. It’s lightweight, highly customizable and has all the features I need and (almost) none that I don’t. ComicRack is too bloated for my taste.
