This may sound weird to ask but, how do you meet Japanese women? I'd love to get one.

Does sound weird, therefore you must be weird(don't worry I'm just joking around here). Probably language exchange, I knew a few people who did it that way. Although most of the time it was temporary. If it's long-term your looking for, then I can't help you there. As I have no experience in that

Pre Step 1. Be an awesome guy without Japanese ability
Step 3. Go to Japan and express your awesome.

Odds are in your favor if you go to Japan; most of the women there are Japanese. But really it's just like any other girl. If your a cool guy and like to have fun I'm sure you'll have no problem just enjoy yourself. Treat Japanese girls the same as you would back home it's really no different. Walk up to a girl on the street and ask if they speak English. Regardless of there answer continue like nothing happened and then suggest you guys get some coffee if she doesn't look like she's rushing somewhere. If she is rushing get her email and walk away.

Oh yeah and take you shoes off even in your own apartment if you don't already.

If you're in Japan, Western looking and speak some basic level of Japanese you'd have to try pretty hard to not find one.

I don't know about Spain's Japanese population though.

You still have to try to get a girlfriend. Just because your a foreigner isn't going to make girls fall in love with you at least not any girls of quality, like maybe the girls at Gaspanic will go for that but a Gyaru/ Fashionista / OL off the street won't give you another second once they find out you bore them. Being a Foreigner may spike their interest but you still have to have something going for you besides being a foreigner. A little style goes a long way with girls in Tokyo that spend hours just to look the way they do and of course Japanese ability if they don't speak English too well.

The Inaka may be a different story if you're basically the only foreigner around then maybe being foreign is enough I don't have any experience there though so I can't really speak.

I don't get why people leave their shoes on at all. I live in Canada and 99% of the homes I've been in are 'shoes off' homes. Who wants to clean more often due to outside shoes being used?

My experience: No no, they definitely are different. They kind of expect you to be polite and take everything with slow steps and are shy? So try not to do anything impulsive.

One thing is that they have girls-only schools, which my country doesn't have.

That's just crazy. I don't wear shoes, or usually even socks in my house...

I find it's not really the girls being shy but more socially aware of what their actions look like to others around them. So if your talking to a girl from school with all her friends she won't just run off with you: true. But if you're alone with her it's not that big of a deal for her to be more herself. No she won't really be making out with you on the street like in the states but sometimes you can get around this by dipping in an alley or secluded park etc. It's all logistics.

And take things slow?! ehh I've had that yes but it's rare really. I always have a plan on several places to take them on dates even if I'm not that great at the language. Leading girls is attractive. Just try to give them an excuse such as「行こう！一緒に歩きたい。」 Grab her hand and walk to the hotel she knows what's up and if things were going well she won't resist much.
