iknow.jp now free for the desktop

When I heard smart.fm was closing down I knew I had to act fast, so I copied the courses, images, sounds, sentences, and gui so we as a community can still enjoy a free iknow application. Attached below is a screenshot and a couple of download mirrors. This version is only Japanese Core 1 & 2k.

Looks really cool. Good job.

The links looked good until taken down. Anything people are capable of doing to rip that site, all the power to you after how they lied to their users. I am definitely anti iknow as well now.

An example for people who don't know how to do it.

You want to find: I'm happy.
the site is: http://forum.happeness.com

you search
cache: http://forum.happeness.com "I'm happy"

and you click the link - Cached

I guess all you new guys don't know about this place: http://groups.google.com/group/rtk-share?hl=ja
I can't say it's extremely active right now, but there are 289 members at the moment.
Post the link there if you like, then you won't have to PM everyone the link =/

There's also here: http://revtk-share.hexagon.cc/
Not been any new torrents for a long time though, shame people seemed to forget about it, I thought it was a good idea T_T
Maybe I should upload some stuff to kickstart it =/

Remind me why the links were taken down? Wasn't it cleared in the original iKnow thread when guys were stripping the site that all this content was community common license? That Cerego wants to convert it's site to paying membership does not magically make all that content private again. Any new content of course would be covered by it's new policy.

Angel,

Those links were deleted by admin for a reason. Telling people how to find the links is ok, but don't circumvent an admin decision, especially by making a new account.

Most likely, the links are perfectly legit as the front-end is tailor made and the content was covered by CC license. However, wait until Fabrice makes the call on that.

Does anyone still have a copy of this? Does it stlll work? I tried the old links I found for it, but none of the file hosts have working links anymore.

So if anyone still has it, please Email me at kaptengrot at yahoo dot se!
