I just tried to install greasemonkey on my mac and I got message saying that I can't install it because there is no application that can open it. I was able to install firefox. I'm not a techie. Thanks.

Try these steps.
1. Open Firefox.
2. Go to the greasemonkey homepage using Firefox.
3. Click on the green "Install Now" button.
4. After a couple of seconds, the "install" button should be available. Click it.
5. Restart Firefox.
