1, 000 tomorrow, but that should only take an hour or two now I've reviewed them.
All downhill from here.

If I ever let it get to that point again though, I will be shooting myself... or abandoning the deck, maybe both Tongue

Nice, this is really impressive. 8.5k cards in 2months, even if its just reviews you've been neglecting is still a feat.

If I just chained myself to the desk and disconnected the internet I could have got it done in 3 days; alas there were a lot of distractions and lack of focus along the way.

thecite, congratz! Big Grin I wonder how much discipline people could have and do such enormous decks in approximately 3 months, wow. (Suppose you talked about this 8555 Sentences public anki deck, didn't you?)
Anyway, congratz once again. Did this kind of stuff with the last part of RtK1. Just couldn't resist and did the last 800 in one day lolz

This reminds me of when I was doing 700 reviews a day on Anki. Probably 'cause I think my Anki was bugged as button 4 - 1.8 months equaled 3 days according to Anki.

what if I told you I used to do 1000-4000 reps for per day(half of them where sentences). Lucky I don't do this anymore, it's just insane to maintain.

Nice! Last time I let only 3000 reviews build up, I just deleted them.

I'm not great(not yet at least). I was just at the "want to do so much phase" during those crazy number of reps. I'm more relaxed now for reps/number of new cards per day. I believe now maintaining is the key to success, rather than doing more. At least in terms of srs reps

And how long did it take to review 1000 sentences?
I just can't imagine how it even possible to do 4000 in one day.

It's possible. At 5 seconds a review it'd take 5.5 hours. That's still a massive time sink anyway.

That's pretty wild. I hit 1k reviews a day a couple of times during my JLPT vocab rampage. I don't ever want to do that again haha. I can't imagine doing 4k. Seems like the brain melts at that point.

3-5 hours. I don't do that anymore, I definitely know why I got such high numbers. I added a lot daily. Now I don't add that much(max is 50 cards per vocab deck but that's it). 20 production cards and 10 sentence cards

10 cards per day in a year would equal more than 3000 kanji. Doing small eventually adds up to big, no matter what

Only adding 5 kanji and 6-10 vocab (with kanji) day but ill get there eventually

may seem small now but wait until 1 year, that's when the numbers start kicking into effect

My today stats "Studied 469 cards in 1.72 hours" well, that was fun, I didn't even noticed.
And i thought that to be able to do 1000 you need to be some sort of super-hardcore-alien =D
though 4000 is still seems "OMFG" Smile
