Hi folks,

Anyone know of a software tool that can split an audio recording based on parts where there is silence? One of my friends is going to read my word list into one long audio recording and i'd like to split it up automatically. Thanks. (he will pause for 1-2 seconds per word).

Audacity does this I think. There was another program too that was discussed on the forums. Not sure how to search for it, but "audio splitting" should do it.
