Podcasts/Transcripts for English Learners.

So you have friends who you want to help. Here's a list of resources for them (read: to bribe them with):

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox...e/?src=api
Pronounces words on screen from merriam webster.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox...m-webster/
Adds search for merriam webster's dictionary, which you can double click words in the entry and get meanings for as well (kills the endless look up excuse some people have.)

Podcasts for natives, but American's speak slower than Ozys, so it's not too bad.

News with transcripts slowed down slightly. You can mouse over words and double click for a Merriam Webster's learner's dictionary look up.

If you have CNN and a HD Recorder, this could be useful. Otherwise, use the internet to find the show, if it's hosted somewhere.

Obviously, this is not Japanese related, but we all have friends who have helped us a lot. Why not help them a bit by showing them how to learn English our way (the RTKer way, AJATT way, Hodgepodge, whatever you want to call it.)
