So, regarding the ALC sentence compilations... how useful are those 6,000 daily expressions? I consider myself at a mid-intermediate level and thus already know many of these words, but there are still many I haven't come across yet. My concern is wasting time. I don't want to spend a lot of time learning words/sentences I may never use in my lifetime, so...
I'm curious if anyone can shed some light as to the usefulness of those 6,000 expressions. I don't wish to go through them one by one and verify, so if someone already happens to know (i.e. have experience w/ them) it would be a big help. If they are all things I should know I will just grab the Anki file and have at it, but I would like to make sure that's the case before doing so.
And while I'm at it, how about the ~350 mimetic expressions?
