I'm sure many have seen Densha Otoko but in case you haven't its a very funny show about a nerd who goes after a girl he saved from a bum on a train. he gathers support from the interweb, the forums to be exact.

Its based off a true story and the actual conversations are available so I'd recommend you check it out for those who watched it already and wanna read the source material or those interested in something new to watch and read

It is a really cool read, if just to learn about Japanese dating culture. Also interesting is that Train-man is asked what the girl he met looked like, and he compares her to actress Miki Nakatani; she then ended up starring in the movie of the story.
