does anyone know how to get a ETC card in japan? Its a credit card right? are there any good specials for this? I want a etc card that i can mileage points or something nice since I will use it everyday.

you need to apply for a credit card in japan and ask for an etc card. then they issue you 2 cards. One is a normal credit card, the other is a card without raised letters that fits in the machine. I have heard that some people have had difficulty getting a card that they wanted while they were here, but good luck to you on that.
