Production Deck (Pace)

#1
Hey guys I got a question. I've been doing production for about 1 month and the reviews are pretty big. (Ranges from 125-300+ at times). So I decided I should start fresh, because I want to go at a slower pace (this is due to physically writing all those cards down on my notebook.). So I'm still deciding on what pace to go on. I'm estimating, 10-20 new cards per day, should be enough/good pace for daily writing.

I remember there was a link posted on the forum about telling you how much cards you'll have in the future (review) if you add at a certain pace. Can any link that to this thread.
That would very much be appreciated!

I think this is what you're looking for:

Right?
A quick rule of thumb is that (for his calculations) after about a year, if you add x number of cards per day, after about a year, you'll be stabilized to reviewing 10x - 15x cards per day.

@ta121212121212 - Just out of curiosity, what's your production deck like, in terms of the layout?

Kana in the question field. The words are bracketed a part per kanji. Then the answer field contains the kanji word or if it's a small sentence, then it contains more.

Example:

Question>[わたし]はネストロ

Answer?>私はネストロ

For the vocab word it's the same:

Question>[かん]じ

Answer>感じ

Ohh okay. I thought you meant ‘production’ as in output rather than ‘active recall’. I'm always interested in ways people thinking of incorporating output and/or speaking practice into Anki.

Which reminds me I need to think more about cloze delete, rather than only obsessing over call-and-response card chains... /ramble

That reminds me, I should include those into my production deck(cloze deletion)

As for practicing out via anki. I think there are a few ways of doing it. It definitely works for very basic stuff.I..e introducing yourself, dates, numbers, basic conversations, But it get's tricky once the output level it's advanced.
