I really like them, though I still haven't studied them.

Thanks guys. I have to admit it's hard to find stuff with Japanese transcripts as Japanese people really don't need them, so they are more for learners.

This said, I've realized making my listening more comprehensible is pretty important at this stage, so I'm going to work through some of the links above, try out some audio books with the text as well, try to get some anime subtitle files (probably from the Subs2SRS page anime) and do some read and watch, rip the audio from anime to mp3 and read the manga while listening, etc. Basically, anything I can do to level my listening up further (mass listening + a lot of other stuff is working, but I need a bit more speed!!!)

By the way, if anyone is interested there are quite a few good audio slowing tools for the iphone in the app store (one or two free to try). I am not recommending, yet, SpeedUp Lite, but it's not too bad (sort of). Although, I don't actually need it for Bleach (which I am doing the reading/listening method with an MP3 ripped from episode 1 and the manga), I might use if for this:

sort of thing, which I can hear, but just don't know the words (reading them is ok)

Can someone verify the usefulness of this link for me? It has about 100+ drama scripts in Japanese according to my friend and from what I have read it seems ok.

http://www.plala.or.jp/ban/script.html

七瀬ふたたび
Jdrama link: http://www.jdorama.com/drama.1336.htm
#The top most link on his script site.
The first one looks like this: http://www.plala.or.jp/ban/nanase0101.html

Also, for those in Japan:
http://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/aw/s/ref=is_b...stripbooks

Has anyone actually tried one of these? Is it just a sample or the full script or is it just a bunch of articles about script writing?

I checked 七瀬ふたたび. It's exactly the same or near enough I can't tell the difference.

Now, can anyone make a recommendation from the list. Something you've watched and think would be fairly easy. I think it would take me quite a long time just to go through all of the drama he has on there.

Well, they're not podcasts per se, but I've found the G.L.O.S.S site to be really useful. Do a search and click on "View source" to see the Japanese text + audio. It mostly has news and magazine articles.

I think 'wherefore' would have been hilarious.
