Hey folks,

as far as I know there is only the lookup.sh plugin for anki for looking up sentences from alc.co.jp. My question was whether there is a chance/possibility programming a plugin like the example sentence plugin available only taking alc as the source (seems to be the best/suitable for me here..). Wonder if such a plugin was made and i just did not find it, so i just wanted to ask ahead
[I write this because I do not have my PC constantly on internets.. Can be quite tricky with ALC then. Quite a good resource i must say all in all.]

There is a plugin called online lookup, which looks up goo.jp and writes (Japanese or English) definitions and example sentences into your Meaning field if it is empty. I don't know if it will work with Anki 1.2x and it seemed to me that it would have been more useful if it could have written definitions and sentences to different fields or let you select which one you were interested in. You could try it or contact the author.
