I also dated several dozen Asian women to verify this opinion. Though, because I hate to think of myself as prejudice, I will continue doing so a few more years just to be sure*

I don't feel this was any type of miscommunication, misunderstanding, or otherwise. I don't expect you to read my main post, but she visited me and returned to where she was studying abroad. There is no need to maintain any balance, because we are thousands of miles apart (her and I), and he should see me as no threat. Do you still think I'm wrong in my thinking, given this information?I read and posted earlier. I just hadn't reread to remember context. Regardless, it seems you have a pretty good idea how the situation is and have thought it through rationally. I think you are within your rights to feels as you do.
If anything, this was on Facebook and she could've just blocked him from seeing that album.

With the recent high profile media incidents with abductions, I think we can expect to see the Hague convention come in place in Japan. Whether they ratify the entire thing or just parts of it though is the real question. It sort of sits in the same bucket of issues as the Trans-Pacific Free Trade Agreement thing they have been debating about joining.
I think the whole beauty and eye of the beholder is true in this case. You could easily swap out gender and race for anything else and it still fits. As to the attraction? I assume you mean "why Japanese women are attracted to white men," is the thought you are having? Maybe its not looks, and maybe its more they are looking for a partner that won't force traditional Japanese family structure/roles on them.

Well kitty you didn't follow my responses it seems, but nothing is going to happen with her. Also, why are you saying caucasian? I'm a white, unattractive (according to kittycate44's information), 21-year-old male. I hate when people say caucasian. This is not a job application.

On the other hand, calling us "Europoid" or something similar is perfectly acceptable - we never got the memo that races are nothing but social constructs.
