This is really interesting to follow. I'm sure you'll steam roll it!
For myself, after a while I managed to review really fast by using the numpad. Enter to reveal and 0-1-2-3 and 4 is there too lol. All the buttons are nice and close together and fits well for one hand.

Interesting to see someone else looking at doing a speed run (wonder how he did). I think I first tried RTK1 with just pencil and paper and didn't go very far. Then in 2009 I got up around frame 112. I think part of the problem was that I was looking at going too slowly. My previous post back then mentioned that I was primarily self-studying Spanish and had started RTK1 as preparation to later seriously self-study Japanese. As such I didn't much mind if I spent a whole year to finish the book...
Similarly it also meant that it was the first thing to get dropped if I felt pressed for time. Which also meant that any hope of review being a habit also got squashed.
So I have restarted. This time I consider "by years end" to be the worst place successful outcome. My main goal is to finish by the first of July so I can have everything done before my birthday. I'm on frame 55 as I post this, so according to my spreadsheet (why yes, I am that geeky :)) I need to do 13.9 a day to finish by July 1st. Thirteen? Easy! Eighteen a day and I can be finished before June. Twenty and it's mid May. Of course still doing new cards in May would be annoying because I have vacationing planned then...
I'm not sure I'm up to trying to finish in a month, but I'm feeling more hopeful this time trying to finish in just a few months.
