Anyone else recording their progress? [Sharing Ideas]

#1
Just a quick post. Anyone else doing something similar? I wouldn't mind seeing others sheets if they are willing to share. I've only seen Khatz and another guys version, so I don't really have much to draw from here.

I was keeping an informal diary on a site for a while, but other than hitting my milestones, I don't have much interest in keeping track of time spent and other numbers. To me, it seems tedious and I don't see how it could help me.

On the other hand, that information is probably of interest to new learners who want to know what they can expect if they put different levels of effort in. With that in mind, your chart would be a lot better if you noted any milestones you hit, like starting to feel comfortable reading mangas, then hard mangas, then really easy novels... And also when you start to feel comfortable listening and speaking, etc.

One of the things I hate about my work is creating reports about my work. But I understand its purpose in company setting. However doing it by myself for myself is counter productive for me. I could spend this time doing actually valuable work, progress is easy to track as it is. Just try some media in monthly intervals and reflect on what has improved.
