Awesome resource of Japanese dubbed movies!

#1
Hello there people, happy new year!

I looked around a little and didn't see anyone here mentioning that some people at video.fc2 is posting *literally* tons of awesome, awesome content. Anime, dramas, westerns movies(dubbed/subtitled)...All in extremely good quality.

http://video.fc2.com/en/member.php?page=...62#listtop

Since there's a lot, here's what you can find:

Back to the future 1~3
Terminator 1~3
Saw 1~6
Ikebukuro west gate park(IWGT)
Inception
Shutter Island

Of course, you never know when the man is gonna take everything down so... You know what to do. Tongue

A little extra: nyatorrents has 3 different torrents containing all 15 しんちゃん DVDS. Amazing stuff. I'm seeding at full speed so feel free to leech.

Any idea how to download the videos, instead of just watching them?

On a Mac, Safari's Activity works just fine.

EDIT: As seen below, Flashgot seems the best option.

Thanks, but the site doesn't seem to have a 'download' link. I don't see how Orbit is going to help me without it.

Edit: Nevermind. I see how it works now.

Thanks!

This is awesome! I'm just watching Back to the Future and I can actually follow the conversations fine, I never tried watching anything without subs before. Awesome!

Oh, and FlashGot (firefox extension) works fine on video.fc2.com, just right-click anywhere on the page and choose 'download media (1)'. The (1) represents the number of downloadable videos it has found.

Thanks for the input, it's good to know. I remember having trouble downloading using Firefox. Guess the downloaders(is this a word?) are getting better.

In the end, I ended up using FlashGot instead. Orbit found the right download, but wouldn't ever actually connect to download it. FlashGot managed to get it.

I see, sorry for the wrong info. I'm going back to FlashGot too since I only use Safari for downloading videos.

They've both been taken down.

To find all the dubbed movies just search 日本語吹き替え版 - there are still quite a few on there.

Did anyone manage to save inception before it went down?

EDIT: Inception and some other film in J-dub can be found by googling 'Taikeru productions'.

You can still find Inception by searching for インセプション.
And I also looked and Shutter Island is also there by looking for シャッター・アイランド

The inception one is just a trailer, and the shutter island one is not dubbed in Japanese.

edit: my bad, you can find parts 1 and 2 of inception dubbed by searching ¶ΝСεΡΤ¶ΘΝ

The best way to keep track of the good stuff is by looking at the ranking.

There's another version of Inception here(http://video.fc2.com/en/member?mid=88356121) besides the one posted by Blahah.

I just found this one:

笑ってはいけない is freaking hilarious!

As the title says, 4 guys can't laugh while stupid/funny things happens all the time around them.

@speedking That's the Downtown Gaki no Tsukai 24-Hour Hospital special. They've done a bunch of those kinds of events over the years.

So I've never even heard of FlashGot before this thread... how do you use it to download from this website? I'd love to have inception dubbed.

I highly recommend the latest 笑ってはいけない (スパイ). One will be able to find it easy if they are a d-addict.

Install it and it'll install a Firefox plugin. Visit the page of the movie you want and hit Play. Then right-click and click 'Download Media (1)' (or something close) and it'll start downloading. Sometimes it'll find more than 1 media, but the others will be small and you can just delete them later.

Can someone explain to me how to play the files downloaded with flashgot? It seems to create two files for every video, neither of which can I play.

Are they ".flv" files? If so, just install a codec pack and you should be good to go. I personally like to use Media player Classic to play everything if I'm using Windows.

If they're NOT .flv files I honestly don't know what's wrong. Are you downloading the biggest one in size just like wccrawford said?

@Ryuujin27
Hey, thanks for the heads up! I completely forgot about checking D-addicts for that.

And if you're feeling frisky, you can just click the "Adult" tab at the top. This website has everything!

How the hell do you think I discovered the "general" section?? Rolleyes

But seriously, I wonder how many seeing that flashy adult icon simply ignored their Japanese studies and went straight away to that section. Hm...Tongue

I right click and flashgot, knows the file, its size and type but fails due to not being able to locate the HTTP server? Anyone else getting that?

That gets you three movies and five pages of Mickey Mouse clips.
I've had this site bookmarked for a couple months now. It was mentioned on another thread somewhere. Your best bet is to just go to the rankings page.
