I've been able to find a few japanese series/movies that I like but I have trouble finding new movies related to those....

what I'm wondering is if there's some website like Pandora for Japanese tv/movies? or just anything in general that lists similar kinds of tv/movies in groups?

(If you don't know what Pandora is, basically it's a music website where you enter bands that you like in it and then it will suggest other bands similar to those to play)

Not sure about finding Movies, but D-addicts covers Asian TV fairly extensively. Has it's own Wiki so you can find things that are linked to other stuff by Genre, Actors, Writers etc. Usually has new drama's within a couple of days of being on TV, however if you want subs you usually have to wait a few weeks. (Although Japanese subs pop up fairly quickly)

I've thought about this a number of times, and not just for Asian movies/dramas... Why should Pandora be only for music? I think there's a real product here waiting to be developed by the right people.. If I had the skills.....

You can list drama by type (e.g. "human drama", relationship martial arts, etc).
It seems pretty user friendly, although looks like the searching could be better. I am now a happy puppy
