Japanese sheet music + lyrics

#1
Does anyone know any sites where I can get the sheet music + lyrics for Japanese songs? I've completely failed to find them on my own, as I don't even know the Japanese for them.

Edit: I'm particularly interested in piano, violin and double bass, but tab sites or other instruments will still be appreciated.

Ok, here I go.

Lyrics

http://www.utamap.com/indexkasi.html

http://www.uta-net.com/

http://www.corichan.com/

Tabs(chords)

http://www.xxxsound.jp/main/index.html

http://music.j-total.net/index.html

But my best recommendation is to actually use the name of the song and these appendages in google: "tab" "コード" "タブ" etc.

you could use..."ピアノ" "バイオリン" etc. the japanese names of the insteruments.

Be creative.

Thanks for the words, thats pretty much what I do in English but I couldn't in Japanese.

The problem is that the Japanese equivelent of sheet music doesn't seem to be シートミュージック, which is what I get when I type it in to an English-Japanese dictionary. I may be wrong though; I pretty much just scan the pages for likely looking links, since my Japanese still sucks.

Not sure if it's your cup of tea, but enka CD singles often come with lyrics AND sheet music on glossy poster-size paper.

I wish I could contribute to the thread more than this,
but I think the word you're looking for is 楽譜

Thanks for all the replies and sorry for the slowness of mine; I've been away from the computer for a couple of days.

I'm not really sure either. I was under the impression that enka referred to a particular style of singing and was not in itself a genre. Could you elaborate on what counts as enka and/or name some artists/singles that come with sheet music? Also, is the sheet music a direct copy of whats played on the CD, with whatever instrumentation they use, or some kind of family friendly reduction? (e.g. a piano arrangement)

To be honest I can't see myself shipping any CDs from Japan anytime soon, but I will do one day so I'm still pretty interested.

I may have understated it in my OP, but learning the vocabulary I need to search for things myself is a large part of why I started this thread. So thanks Big Grin

Thanks alot, 東京事変 is one of my favourite bands. Smile

Right now I'm looking for Piano and singing stuff, so if anyone knows any please tell me. Artist recommendations would also be appreciated, as the only one I know at the moment is Someya Shun.

Thanks for any (more) help.
