Usually after I've watched a drama I'll convert it into a smaller file to save on space and also so I can put it on my iphone. But the problem is when I re-watch the smaller video files with some external subtitles, the subtitles quality has also decreased. So when I make the video ratio bigger in VLC for example the subtitles will become more pixelated and un-readable.
I know the subtitles are fine as when I watch the drama's originally, unconverted they are crystal clear.
Does anyone know how to get VLC to display external subtitles at a higher quality even if the video it self is of a low quality.
