Rip Smart.fm into anki or not?

#1
I've found an awesome (Chinese) deck on Smart.fm following the books we use in school.
Would it be better to rip it into anki? with sentences, voices, pictures, yadi yadi
or just do it on smart.fm?

If in anki, should I do:
*listen to sentence -> understand
*AND read sentence -> understand (and know how to pronounce)
(2 kind of cards)

Because listen and then write down will cost too much time I think, anyone else any suggestions?
Thanks!

I do my initial "learning" of the vocab on smart.fm since it has a good approach that I enjoy, and it works well.

Once I have "mastered" a goal on smart.fm I rip it into anki and continue reviews that way. smart.fm is great for learning, not so much for the longterm srs where anki isn't good for learning but longterm srs is phenomenal Big Grin

Best of both worlds!

That is good; might have to steal/borrow that idea!

I've recently re(?)discovered Smart.fm's Dictation (visible for goals with sentences) as a way for practicing listening comprehension, grammar patterns & written production. It's awesome as it is and could be perfect with a few modifications, mainly:

1. Full Kanji mode for sentences
2. More types of questions
3. Better keyboard shortcuts to maximize speed
4. Mini achievements, so it feels more like a game and is even more involving

I'll try to pitch them to their stuff and hopefully some will be implemented.

Don't care much for sentences in my Anki. Anki is for very long term vocab retention and it gets the job done.
