Site for watching Japanese TV

#1
A while ago someone (I think it was Zorlee) posted a link to a site for watching Japanese television in Japanese. It was designed for Japanese people, so was entirely in Japanese, and had a great selection of all different types of programs. (Much better than sites like DramaCrazy) For some reason I didn't bookmark it at the time and I've been trying to find it again ever since. Can anyone remember it?

I did find another site through japaneselevelup.com, but it's not as good as I remember the other one being.

I use Keyhole-tv. It airs exactly what airs in Japan at the moment (and you get a variety of pretty good channels including radio channels). Does anyone else use it?

Is it one of the pay sites, or is it a free site? There are a couple of companies you can pay monthly to get steaming access to Tokyo television stations. Nothing too fancy, just the OTA stuff you'd get anywhere if you were in Japan. One of them was wist.tv, and the other was NTKTV. Here's a link to one discussion:

Someone also mentioned a free service.

Try this thread, too:

actually one time i dled fukaii hanashi since it isn't up on those video hosting sites and i really wanted to see it (it was the episode with the naime and manga) and the file was only 150 or 100 but the quality was reallly good . (it was mp4)

i heard keyhole quality is shit. and for me ihave my tv show preferences + i like fast-forwarding boring parts so ... video hosting sites for the win for me.

now a days lots of stuff is upped on good quality on youku and tudou.

I can attest to this. I eventually stopped using keyhole due to its quality :/

To be fair, the name KeyholeTV describes it perfectly.

Someone yesterday recommended 気ままにyoutube for watching anime. Not sure how good it is, but it's worth taking a look at, at least.

Edit: The site also has drama and variety programs as well.

TVpad also works for live streaming some 25 Japanese channels, if you want something that's setup to connect to your TV with remote and all. The downside is it's $200 for their "android" box (no monthly fee though). It also has other Chinese channels and moves/western tv shows. Problem is that some of the apps are in Chinese only (although the user interface can be set to English).

Personally I find that streaming individual shows when you want to watch them is much better than live streaming. I rarely use my actual TV now.
