Hopefully I'm allowed to post this here (since I followed all the instructions in the Core 6k threads to set this up).
So I followed the instructions on threads in this forum to create an Anki deck from the Core 6k spreadsheet and audio files (thanks a million for this!) In my deck are two types of cards. Card 1 plays the vocab audio upon opening and I have to guess the meaning before switching to the answer which is the audio sentence plus word definition. Card 2 is the English vocab in writing and I have to guess the meaning in Japanese which is on the flip side. I have "generated" both cards and they all appear as 12000 cards in the deck. However, it's been 9 days since I started and I've gone through about 600 cards but for some reason only Card 1 is coming up in reviews. Does anyone know why Card 2 is not coming up? Like I said, both Card 1 and Card 2 cards appear when I click the magnifying glass thingy so I've generated them properly. It doesn't really bother me at the moment because I prefer learning by listening. But once a word has sunk in by the audio method I want to be able to recall it quickly when given the English translation (hence the way I have set up Card 2).
Many thanks.
