JapanDict - a question about correctness

#1
Someone here listed Japandict as a resource. I liked it because it had a handy conjugation chart for verbs. Being as I'm still pretty low level, I thought it would be nice to add these on occasion to my cards to study a bit.

I went to edit a card and found what I think is a mistake-

Tae Kim lists 入る as a "U" verb - an exception to it's いる sound

WWWJDIC also has it as a 五段動詞

Which ones wrong?

links - http://www.japandict.com/入る

http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~jwb/cgi-b...%A4%EB_v5r

http://www.guidetojapanese.org/learn/grammar/verbs - at the bottom of the page it is listed as a "u" verb.

Who's in the wrong here? My bet is JapanDict , in which case I won't be using it. But I have heard that WWWJDIC has problems sometimes...?

Yes, it's conjugated incorrectly in JapanDict. It should be はいらない, for eg. It was labelled correctly as 五段 (u verb) though.

Thanks Thora

Too bad - I wonder how many are wrong there. I rather like the handy dandy conjugation charts. I guess I could still use it, but just proceed with caution...

Side question, if anyone's reading this -> Is there a good list that has all the exception る=う verbs? I just have the ones marked from Tae Kim. I'm curious how many there are...?
