Does anyone have a pdf of / link to the July 2010 N2 paper? It'd be perfect practise for the December test.

It's probably on some Chinese forums like coffeejp (if that is still around).

You can't write in Japanese on your computer? Do you use a Mac or a Windows PC?

Of course I can write in Japanese on my computer. I just didn't then. I don't understand the Chinese sites particularly well, if anyone has a link that'd be great.

Yeesh- we've been looking for that for ages with no luck! Thanks

Katsuo, I don`t suppose you can find the N1 test as well? I dunno how you found that N2 one, I`ve always come up empty-handed in my searches.
Edit: lol, nevermind. A minute later I just browsed that main page and found it. Thanks!

I found a mysterious word document here. The doc itself says N1, but it's actually N2. (Compared it to Katsuo's N2, and it matches.) It's a Word doc that comes without all of the giant Chinese characters plastered all over it... but make sure to scan it before you open it... or just open it in something else.
I'm sure if you keep poking around on the same site, you could find a version of N1.

rich_f -> you are also a legend! perfectly formatted N2 test, unbelievable. Doing the 2007 past paper at the moment - listening and vocab were fine, but the grammar and reading point is seriously tough on this one (sorry, bit off topic).
Anyway, cheers guys!

Does anyone have the questions for the N1 listening section? I can find the transcripts and answers, but I need the questions and answer choices first to take the test. Thanks in advance!

Yea but that has the transcript written with the questions so it ruins the listening part. I'm looking for just the questions and answer choices like when the test was administered.

Ah, you want the sheet that was handed out in the test which includes the alternative answers. I looked around but couldn't find that, I'm afraid.
While doing so I found better quality versions of the questions that include the correct answer (but not the wrong alternative answers). (Note: I haven't checked these for viruses, etc.)
listening 1 & 2 (view only)
listening 1 to 5 (view only)
listening 1 & 2 (can copy & paste text)
listening 3 to 5 (can copy & paste text)
Alternatively, PDF files for each listening section:
one
two
three
five
(Couldn't find one for section 4)

It's cool, thanks for your help.

I would be very careful with the link julianj provided-- or any of the Chinese website links. I just got infected with the Hupigon backdoor trojan, and this is the only source I can trace it to. I scanned the zip file with my antivirus software before unzipping, but...
Anyone else run into the same problem?

This might be a stupid question, but the break in between each question in the listening section is much shorter in the Chinese mp3 version than in my N2 drill books.
Can anybody confirm if those Chinese mp3 rips are real-life-speed?
Even the part where it says that you'll have time to read the answers first? Because there's no time AT ALL!
No, I'm worried :/

I haven't found any viruses, but I just found out that someone has been making free with my Debit card... the same one that I used to pay for my JLPT with... even after I changed the account number. (Someone who likes to drop $550 at a Picadilly cafeteria in Florida.)
So maybe I have a virus, or maybe someone made free with my info stolen from the JLPT website, or maybe someone else stole my data. Either way, I now have a royal pain in the ass to deal with. -_-#

After a little bit of digging, I found the list of links of all JLPT papers from 1991. I guess if you keep refreshing these pages you can get the December 2010 papers a few days after the exam gets over.
http://www.neworldjp.com/List/68/ -> N1
http://www.neworldjp.com/List/72/ -> N2
http://www.neworldjp.com/List/73/ -> N3 and former lvl 3
http://www.neworldjp.com/List/78/ -> N4, N5 and former lvl 4
And if anyone wants me to share the N1 and N2 word doc files, I will put it up on Google Docs. Thanks to the link rich_f provided I was able to grab both of them and they have the listening section questions as well.
And good luck to everyone who is going to take the test on sunday
