Thanks for sharing it.

Plenty of suburban cities have people standing on corners with signs, which they usually shake around (sometimes even flipping them in mid-air). There's lots of people who hold signs every day in San Francisco's Union Square. Most of them are seemingly crazy, however, such as the case of Mr. Frank Chu.

That was great, thanks for sharing!! I was in London last year though and I'm sure some of these guys are still knocking about on Oxford Street...

This is the equivalent here in South Korea - these guys are awesome!

hey that was great; great cinematography, plus made me lol. Smile

Also I can confirm the board people are definitely still around on Oxford Street - saw two the other day wearing full fluffy neon body suits, looking depressed, listening to their Ipods. It's *always* tanning salons or golf sales they're advertising - what the hell is a golf sale anyway, and why would anyone go to one on spur of the moment??

That was entertaining. The comments kept saying it was a tear jerker. Maybe it's a European thing.

Personally I found more tears in this video here.

We have many of those sign guys around Sydney. They're usually young teenagers with their iPhones sms'ing all day.

Really? Hmm, I've come across a few people holding signs in their hands and such but
none holding them on sticks like that, it's pretty interesting.

@liosama
That was sad.

I've actually worked as a sign guy for a few days in Japan when I was in university. Handed out tissues on a few occasions too.

I lack empathy for homeless, poor, and/or drug addicted individuals. An unfortunate consequence of being privileged enough to not give a damn. Tongue

haha. I once handed out Canadian beef samples wearing a garish cowboy hat and had phone card pictures taken (with Japanese men mostly) in front of a giant backdrop of the badlands. Not the most dignified day of my life...
