Already checked all the usual suspects... no luck. T__T

*edit - "tekkon kinkreet", as a two-word search, found it! I was just searching for the official name, "tekkonkinkreet" before... Thanks quincy. Smile

check out my post on this thread to make sense of it.

thought i'd post it since the one on kitsunekko is fansub apparently so if a line in that sub doesn't make sense... the korean fansubs may help... who knows.

How in the world could this in any way be more accurate than the English fansub?

Japanese and Korean have very similar grammar structures, unlike Japanese and English. I'm hypothesizing, but because if this I imagine that much of the Google translation is simply switching out vocabulary.

That said, I wouldn't use this as my method of study. There's always nuance and colloquialisms that any machine translation in 2010 will flubb... Maybe in another fifty or hundred years engineers can make it happen, but not yet.

I'm confused. Are the Japanese subtitles at kitsunekko fansubs? And what does that have to do with English fansubs? I think the group names in the releases for Japanese subtitles, should they be there, means they go with the raw video which often is provided by a release group?
