Lots of Live Arcade games already have the Japanese script inside of them in this manner. Just grab the demo to check. There is also a handful of region free 360 titles you could import from Japan. I know a couple of the earlier Cave shmups are like this. Also there are some of Indie games you can check out, I saw several Japanese Visual Novels and such on the Indie Marketplace.

I just wanted to add, although it's not an xbox game, Guild Wars for PC can be changed into Japanese, and if you hold down Control it automatically changes it back to English, and if you release control, it changes back to Japanese.
It's an RPG so there is lots of dialogue to read, and it is really nice to have a feature like this. I have been wondering if there is any other game with a feature like this!

I turned my 360's language to Japanese again last night and found out Dead Rising 2 switches.
Unfortunately the voice acting and item names stay in English. But at least you get subtitles and most menus in Japanese.

Add Soul Caliber 4 and Lost Planet to the list.
Soul Caliber 4 is completely Japanese when you set the voices and Lost Planet's text and subtitles are all Japanese, but not the voices. Probably because pretty much all Capcom games use English voice acting now. :/

Im looking to buy a few 360 games in Japan that I can take back to Canada with me and play on my Japanese xbox. Im not a hardcore gamer and 9 times out of 10 I play sports games but Id like to get into some other genres, something more dialogue/story driven. I know I dont like RPGs or anything sci-fi. Im looking more so for period pieces, say a samurai type game or life in Edo. Something yakuza related would be cool too. Any suggestions?

I really have to thank this particular thread for informing me of this awesome feature for these games. I've been trying to let my grandma experience what I consider to be the incredible experience of Lost Odyssey for years now, but a big part of that was the Dream Sequences that were still in English despite changing the voice language. However, once I changed the Xbox language, the text for those sequences were changed also!
As such I am ecstatic as I contribute to this thread:
Alan Wake
- Most all of the text, subtitles, menus, and even the voice of the characters all change to Japanese. Incredibly comprehensive changes to the game.
Devil May Cry 4
- Menus and (automatic) Subtitles switch to Japanese, voice still in English.

I think you're gonna find that any Capcom games that switch over to Japanese subs will have English voices. I think it's because they just don't bother doing any Japanese voices, even for the Japanese versions.
