I don't know hwo to type Pinyin, the numbers stand for the tones. (It's an official but alternative way of writing them.)

Chinese grammar is super easy, so I'm pretty sure I got it right. Except I shoudl of written it wrong to be funny. Thanks for the mention. ;D

Yes, but typing the numbers is much faster than dealing with entering accented letters on a normal US setup, so it's pretty normal to use the numbers for very short phrases.

A friend from Japan payed me a visit the other day and he used my (German) adapter to charge his (Japanese) DS. The DS itself is basically the same device everywhere.

I've never had an issue with previous generations when they came out, but these ones are in a different art style than all other the other games. A lot of them don't look like "pokemon", they look like they should be in a different monster game. Oh well, I'm hoping they look a little better in the real game instead of screenshots.

By the way, you guys may want to hex edit your rom. The games are known to have several hiccups (e.g. not getting any exp) on most flashcards and emulators. The fix should probably be available just about everywhere by now.

Actually now that you mention it, my pokemon haven't been getting any exp... I only did the first two rival battles, so I assumed that you weren't supposed to get any exp...

They do look a lot different in the game, especially because of the animations. like ツタージャ　and ヨーテリー, they are so much better in the game than on that serebii's page. Im quite happy I chose ツタージャ as my starter...

I have to agree with you. I didn't like ヨーテリー until I caught one. The animations are more than just "blink blink, twitch". They definitely add personality to the pokemon.

Well, aside from the unsupported DSi features, yes. Don't worry about it. It's just that when you've played for months on a screen almost twice as large, it's very hard to come back to the DS lite... :x

I ordered the game on Play-Asia! It will arrive in a week or two! Can't wait!!!!!

Then I can choose better which one I want. ^^
