Two questions. They may or may not be answered in heisig so bear with me.
1) When you have a character with road in it, you draw what's 'on' the road first, then road primitive, right?
2) This will take pictures to explain. My mother is Chinese and speaks/reads fluent Chinese. She saw me writing that primitive and told me I was doing it wrong. Basically, the way she writes it is this:

Is this bad? I've gotten into the habit of doing that, but I'm not sure if it's right... I mean, my mom is Chinese... but I dunno. I'm not sure.
