So I realize that I may of made a mistake... I've just been going through and giving "Easy" to anything I know, but there is both the easy option, and the yes option. The only thing the site says is that it increases the interval by 50%. Can someone explain a little better the difference between the two, and when I should use them? I know I will get the (if it's really really easy just click the easy button) but to me that is too subjective, especially if I end up getting it wrong the next time I review.

Also: Let's say I enter in Easy by mistake... anyway to correct? Or do you think it's just better to leave it alone (I'm just up 2 lessons so far).

You're worrying too much about that, I think. Even if you do press the wrong button, or misjudge the card, the algorithm (even if you use this site) will take care of that quickly. In some respects it's in your interests, since if you do press easy, either you will remember it next time, which strengthens the card, or you will forget it, which means you will review it again, and hence strengthen the card (what helps strengthen long term memories is sparse use over large periods of time and, counter-intuitively, forgetting).

If you do want a defining factor, then I'd say the point at which you find a card so simple you want it to just "go away", that's when I press easy on my deck.

I know what you mean, but I don't want to just be randomly selecting answers..my perspective is if it didn't matter, the SRS should just figure it out.

For me, easy is "Sigh, I already KNOW that one, stop showing it to me already!"

It's best used sparingly on cards you have reviewed several times already (not new cards, which you are likely to remember easily from visual memory rather than from long term memory). It can help reduce the load of reviews.
