Hi,
I've tried looking for a while, but I haven't been able to find very many Japanese shows or movies with Japanese subtitles; everything seems to have English subtitles. The only thing I was able to find was some romantic comedy dramas, but I can't stand those.
Anyone know a good place for Japanese subtitles for movies, anime, non-cliche dramas? I really need some 聞き取り練習, but it helps to be able to have the subtitles so I can confirm and find new vocab.

Thanks! Is there a guide anywhere on how to get those subtitles working with videos/which videos they work on?

I've been watching NukeMarines YouTube videos on Using TV Dramas To Improve Your Japanese (thanks Nuke for this informative stuff!), and been browsing d-addicts for dramas. I see they use torrent, but I've heard a lot of bad things about using torrent and getting infected with nasties. Is it safe to use from this site?

Yes, d-addicts is safe. I've been using since it first came out. No problems at all.

I've found some episodes of My Girl (TV Asashi) and Kettai Kareshi on YouTube, just do a search. Also got the subs for these on d-addicts. Anyone else got any useful links, please post.

Am I the only one that finds it weird he said "anime, non-cliche dramas." If anything, you should be trying to find a non-cliche anime. I mean there's Cowboy Bebop and... maybe Trigun... Screw it, I don't watch anime.

Hi bombpersons, do you still use the kamigami site? I managed to download subs for a series and it looks quite good, but they have this rather irritating points system, so I can't get it for some series...

With VLC player, you can edit and tweak the audio AND sub timings if you like, in the program. So I suggest that.
