For some reason when I type パーティ。What i actually get is パーチ。typing 'ti' automatically changes to チ. So I end up having to copy and paste from the jisho, which is annoying. What keystroke should i be using?

Texi should do it. 'x' will make the next vowel small.

On the OSX IME you type 'texi', where the 'x' is what changes the next character to the small character. I would think it might be the same for other IMEs as well.

I usually type teli and that works for me. When I type the l it makes me think of little so that helps me when i think about it. But it's whatever works out well for you
