I this quite difficult, and I keep switching to Japanese mode. But, if I concentrate and read the English just ahead of time, I can "hear it" most of the time. I always die at "君、つまらない" though.

I tried this for a Swedish song too (my mother tongue), but it was too hard, I only caught the occasional "English" word.

It's pretty hard, especially on the parts where the English barely sounds anything like what they say. I tended to start hearing the Japanese in those parts.

I'm the opposite - it totally sounds like the subtitles to me unless I look away from the video. I must be more susceptible to suggestion. Anyway, this idea reminds of Hatten ar Din, a popular SWF animation that used to circulate years ago.
